We discover the underwater world in a different way, through unique and talented perspectives.

What a spectacular edition! The commitment shown by the entrants and the public was truly magnificent, as the images in this edition – with their wealth of detail and nuance – bring the underwater world to life in the most beautiful way we could possibly imagine.

The competition in figures:
We received 1,920 photos, of which 95 qualified for the public vote, with a group of 30 photos receiving a particularly high number of votes. A total of 273,092 valid votes were cast (a new record for public participation to date).

The winning photograph was chosen in a close contest between a group of five images, which required lengthy deliberation by the expert jury. It is always a pleasure to reach a decision when the entrants are of such high calibre, but this year it was particularly difficult.
